SRHR Adventures’ Anti-Sexual Violence Campaign

From November 25th (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10th (Human Rights Day), the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence will be taking place with a public outcry for action towards ending violence against women and girls around the world! For far too long, society and its norms have allowed violence against women to escalate to pandemic proportions. It is reported that one in three women worldwide experiences gender-based violence! In recent years, the voices of survivors and activists, through campaigns such as #MeToo, #TimesUp, #NotOneMore among others have reached a stage where silence can no longer be an option. This year’s 16 Days of Activism is under the theme Orange the World:#HearMeToo. It is with this in mind that we call on you our fellow supporters to join us in celebrating these 16 days. We ask you to either submit pictures to our email (srhradventures@gmail.com) holding a message against sexual violence or post it and tag us with the hashtags #OrangeTheWorld, #HearMeToo, #NoMeansNo, #OnlyStickItIfSheLetsIT Stand with us as we raise awareness and do our part in stopping the silence! #OrangeTheWorld, #HearMeToo, #NoMeansNom #OnlyStickItIfSheLetsIt
